Waiting for the traffic to head into the scene I captured a thirty second exposure of a mixture of moving traffic as well as cars waiting for the light to change so they may be on their way in the early evening

As I was driving along Alameda I noticed this perspective with the sunset and found a spot to capture the ridge line as well as the colors in the sky on a windy afternoon

With the stadium in lower downtown there are plenty of great views of it with the skyline of Denver and from inside you have a great vantage of the Rocky Mountains

Chilkat Range at Night 2024 Calendar The radiators were painted variousOn a November evening I headed to North Douglas and a vantage point that I knew you could see the Chilkat Range in the distance. Once again under a moonlight evening I used a long exposure to capture the scene. The stars you see in this image do not do it justice for what I saw just a 15 minute drive from downtown Juneau. From this vantage point the mountains are the boundary between the Lynn Canal and Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve.
