George III Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy William IV Chest A very attractive 19th CenturyA very high quality tortoiseshell veneered tea caddy dating from the reign of George III. The top of this exquisite 18th Century tea caddy is surrounded by walnut banding and ebony stringing. The tea caddy has a silver drop handle and ivory escutcheon with key and working lock. The lid, with original hinges, lifts to reveal two removable canisters. There has been some early restoration to the caddy, this has been very well done and is not easily
