Corte - Indigo Morga Skirt from Nahuala Guatemala C_N_068 Rowe The photo shows Domingo holdingNahuala Morga This tube skirt is a dark indigo blue, fine cotton fabric with several simple white line designs in the weave. I bought the skirt from Maria in 2015, One of her family hand embroidered beautiful tight narrow randa cross that holds the panels together The cotton skirt material was made on a treadle loom or foot loom probably in Nahuala or a neighboring town. While the color is a beautiful dark indigo blue, it is probably a commercial dye.
